About Question Simple

Hi — I’m the founder of Question Simple, a UK-based platform that provides straightforward financial education and money tips for everyday people and small business owners.

I began my career in finance at 18 through an accountancy apprenticeship. University wasn’t the path for me — sitting in a classroom for another three years wasn’t an option. I wanted to get out there, gain real experience, and earn my way. Since then, I’ve worked in both start-ups and larger companies, gaining practical insight across different parts of the UK finance world.

I also built a small business that exported goods internationally, handling everything from purchasing stock and speaking to customers, to managing the accounting side myself. That experience showed me just how often people — especially business owners — overpay for tasks that can be simplified with the right knowledge.

I created Question Simple to bridge the gap between the lack of financial education in schools and the high-cost private firms I’ve seen first-hand, charging huge fees for help that many people could manage themselves — if they just had access to the right information.

Over the years, I’ve helped elderly relatives who unknowingly kept their savings in low or zero-interest accounts, and paid over the odds for home and car insurance, simply because nobody showed them the better options available. I’ve also seen friends feel completely lost when it comes to managing money — not because they weren’t capable, but because they were never taught how.

That’s where Question Simple comes in.

My aim isn’t to give advice — it’s to offer simple explanations, general money tips, and practical resources that help you feel more confident making your own financial decisions. Whether it’s understanding how current accounts work, spotting hidden fees, or getting to grips with budgeting, everything here is designed to be straightforward, honest, and easy to follow.

I grew up in a small northern town where money was tight and financial education wasn’t a priority. That background is exactly why I started Question Simple — to give working people and small business owners the kind of straight-talking, practical guidance I wish more of us had growing up. My long-term goal is to build one of the UK’s most trusted resources for financial understanding — helping everyday people take control of their finances, one clear answer at a time.
